Playatech – A modern table design that requires no screws, glue or nails.

After being inspired by some of the amazing playatech furniture I saw at burning man last year I wanted to create some of my own for this year.

Here is a design for a bar table I came up with that is made out of one 4’x8′ sheet of 1/2″ foamcore. The biggest advantages of this material is the weight (less that 1lb per 4’x8′ sheet) and the fact you can digitally print on it without doing any finish work.

Notes:

• -If you need a stronger table I would recommend using 1/2″ plywood.
• -Put 1/2″ grommets in the base and use tent pegs to secure it to the playa.
• -For added strength or to make the design water proof use a two part epoxy resin, they sell it at home depot in the paint section.
